\nWAKEFEST opening night THURSDAY. I’m growing some Living Armour made of various greenery for Thursday night’s opening night runway fashion show. A wonderful line up in this year’s annual Arts Fest, now in its’ 5th year. In addition to Thursday evening’s festivities, look out for a mermaid on the street: ‘Taste the $ource’, is an ongoing performance I created in 2007, and is a commentary on Wakefield’s current threatened water situation – both Gatineau River and spring sources.<\/p>\n

Wakefest, la soir\u00e9e d’ouverture est JEUDI. Je suis en train de cr\u00e9er une armure vivante faite de diff\u00e9rente verdures pour un d\u00e9fil\u00e9 de mode \u00e0 l\u2019ouverture du festival Wakefest. La programmation est magnifique de Festival des Arts cette ann\u00e9e, maintenant dans sa 5e ann\u00e9e. En plus des festivit\u00e9s de jeudi soir, regarder pour la sir\u00e8ne dans la rue. \u00abGo\u00fbtez la Source \u00bb est une performance en cours que j’ai cr\u00e9\u00e9e en 2007. C’est un commentaire sur la situation actuelle de l’eau menac\u00e9e \u00e0 Wakefield \u2013 de la rivi\u00e8re Gatineau et la source d\u2019eau, le ‘Wakefield Spring’.<\/p><\/div>\n
