Elle fera une visite guid\u00e9e des arbres dans l’entourage du terrain CP et le couvent des Carm\u00e9lites. Elle offre ce tour pour aider \u00e0 d\u00e9frayer les co\u00fbts de ce jardin sauvage, o\u00f9 des esp\u00e8ces pionni\u00e8res d’arbres et de fleurs sont en plein effervescence. En plus, vous apprendrez l’histoire du jardin du monast\u00e8re des carm\u00e9lites de l’autre c\u00f4t\u00e9 du terrain. <\/p>\n
Bronwyn a initi\u00e9 son organisme ce printemps dernier avec l’id\u00e9e de promouvoir la d\u00e9couverte et l’appr\u00e9ciation de la for\u00eat urbaine de Montr\u00e9al \u00e0 travers des promenades guid\u00e9es, des ateliers, de la litt\u00e9rature et des images. Pour ceux qui s’int\u00e9ressent \u00e0 mieux conna\u00eetre les arbres des rues, ruelles, parcs des quartiers et grands parcs, veuillez voir les prochains tours au www.foretmontreal.com
Les noms des arbres et la liste qu’elle pr\u00e9pare pour chaque visite, est en fran\u00e7ais, anglais et latin.<\/p>\n

Please join us in the CP field, next Thursday and Saturday for a Tree Tour with Bronwyn Chester. She will do a walking tour of the trees around the CP field and the Carmelite residence, where the field and many native plants and flowers are in wild abandon! She offers this walk as a way to help to defray the costs related to the Roerich Garden. You will learn about the history of the Carmelite nun’s monastery garden, on the other side of the street.<\/p>\n
Bronwyn initiated her walks this last spring with the idea to promote the discovery and appreciation of the urban forest in Montr\u00e9al through guided walks, workshops, literature and images. For those interested in learning more about their streets, alleys, neighborhood parks, and large parks, please see the schedule for her next walks at www.foretmontreal.com
The names of the trees on the booklets she hands out are in English, French and Latin.<\/p>\n
