Jonas is an American visual artist + pioneer of video\/performance art, one of the most important female artists to emerge in the late 1960s + early 1970s.<\/p>\n

You are invited to\u00a0Dissections<\/a>,\u00a0a round-table event about\u00a0DHC\/ART’s exhibition\u00a0Joan Jonas : From Away<\/strong>.\u00a0Dissections\u00a0is an interdisciplinary panel series presented as part of DHC\/ART\u2019s program of public events designed to encourage an interdisciplinary discussion on contemporary art.<\/p>\n

The four invited speakers for this Dissections event will present concepts, themes, and approaches inspired by\u00a0Joan Jonas: From Away, currently on view at DHC\/ART. After the presentations, the public will be invited to take part in an informal group discussion.<\/p>\n
