Like Veins Across Heart – finale
Screen shots ERM and photos by Scott Duncan.
This is the final transformation of my most recent piece, Like Veins Across Heart, from (July 2011). Mid-December, I hung what was remaining of the tapestry – like a sheet hanging from a line – on some land near my home. The plant matter, shriveled and dried, clung to the burlap upon which it originally grew. It burned shortly after dusk, with the help of some lighter fluid and white fuel. Back to dust.
